Section: Getting Started
Summary: What signing up gets you, how to sign in, password recovery, and how to delete your account.

ReadyPixl works without an account — guest mode lets you do up to 10 downloads per day. Signing up is free, takes 30 seconds, and gets you more.

## What an account gets you

| | Without an account (guest) | With a free account |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Downloads per day | 10 | 100 |
| Saved presets | Stay on this device | Sync across all devices |
| Chrome extension | Not available | 10 downloads per day |
| Tool access | All free tools | All free tools |
| Cost | Free | Free |

Both are free. The account gets you more usage and the ability to use ReadyPixl from multiple devices.

## Signing up

1. Click **Sign in** in the top-right corner of the editor (the link says "sign in" but it leads to both options)
2. On the sign-in page, click **Sign up** (or "Create account")
3. Enter your email
4. Set a password — or skip the password and use **Continue with Google** or **Continue with Apple**
5. Confirm your email if asked (we'll send a confirmation link)

You're in. Your account follows you across devices.

## Signing in

Same flow:

1. Click **Sign in** in the top-right
2. Enter your email and password
3. Or click **Continue with Google** or **Continue with Apple**

Once signed in, the top-right shows your initials or avatar. Click it to open your account page: your name, plan, credit balance (and **Buy credits**), billing, password and theme.

## Forgot your password?

1. Go to the sign-in page
2. Click **Forgot password?**
3. Enter your email
4. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for a reset link
5. Click the link, set a new password
6. Sign in with the new password

If you don't get the email within a few minutes, check spam, then try the reset link again. If it still doesn't work, email [contact@readypixl.com](mailto:contact@readypixl.com).

## Changing your password

1. Sign in
2. Click your avatar / initials in the top-right to open your account page
3. In the password section, enter your new password twice (at least 8 characters)
4. Click **Update password**

## Changing your email

There's no self-service email change in the account page yet. Email [contact@readypixl.com](mailto:contact@readypixl.com) from your current address with the new one, and we'll move your account.

## Deleting your account

You can delete your account anytime — no questions asked. There's no delete button in the account page yet, so email [contact@readypixl.com](mailto:contact@readypixl.com) from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. Your account and saved presets are removed.

This can't be undone. If you change your mind later, you'd have to sign up fresh — but your old data is gone for good.

## Purchases (Pro, desktop app, credits)

Everything ReadyPixl sells is a **one-time payment** — there are no subscriptions, so there's nothing to cancel and nothing that renews.

1. Click your avatar to open your account page
2. **Plan** shows whether you have Pro
3. **Credits** shows your balance; **Buy credits** tops it up ($5–$500, $1 = 1,000 credits)

For more on what each paid tier costs and includes, see [What ReadyPixl costs](../billing/pricing-tiers).

## Privacy with your account

When you sign up:

- We store your email and a hashed password (we can't see your actual password)
- Your saved presets are stored securely in our database for sync across devices
- Your **images** are NOT stored — they're processed in your browser and never uploaded (with the exception of the paid AI tools, which are clearly labeled and call outside AI services)
- We don't sell your email, share it with third parties, or send marketing without your permission

## Common questions

**Q: Do I need to verify my email to use my account?**

A: Some features (saving presets, syncing across devices) require email verification. Day-to-day use of the editor works immediately after signup.

**Q: Can I use ReadyPixl with multiple email addresses for different purposes?**

A: Yes. Each email = a separate account with its own presets and credits. Useful if you keep work and personal projects separate.

**Q: I'm signed in but my presets aren't showing up.**A: Make sure you're signed in with the email you used originally. Different email = different account = different preset library. Check the avatar in the top-right.

**Q: Can someone else use my account?**

A: Technically yes, but it's against our terms of service to share accounts. Each person should have their own free account.
