## 🧹 Cleanup tools — fix your images

| Tool | What it does | Common pairing |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **[Color Removal V2](color-removal)** | Removes up to 10 colors you choose, everywhere in the image, leaving see-through pixels. Doubles as a background remover only when the background is one solid color your design doesn't use. | Trim · Speckle · Transparency Cleaner |
| **[Trim](trim)** | Cuts off the empty (see-through) edges around your subject. | After Color Removal V2 |
| **[Speckle Remover](speckle)** | Erases tiny stray pixel groups that Color Removal V2 missed. | After Color Removal V2 |
| **[Transparency Cleaner](transparency)** | Erases faint, semi-see-through edge pixels (the ones that print as halos). | After Color Removal V2 + Speckle |
| **[Corner Erase](corner-erase)** | Removes AI generator badges (like Gemini's) automatically, or clears a chosen corner. | Standalone |
| **[Green BG Remover](green-bg-remover)** | Removes a bright green-screen background with soft, clean edges. Made for AI images generated on green. | Before Trim |

## 🔄 Transform tools — change shape, size, or orientation

| Tool | What it does | Common pairing |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **[Resize](resize)** | Changes the actual pixel size of your images. | Early in pipeline (smaller = faster downstream) |
| **[Reposition](reposition)** | Places your image on a custom-sized canvas with exact width / height / DPI. | Late in pipeline (after cleanup) |
| **[Rotate / Flip](rotate-flip)** | Turns your image by 90 / 180 / 270 / custom angle, or mirrors it. | Standalone or early |
| **Canvas Fill** | Fills the space behind your image with a solid color (plus optional padding). Turns a transparent cut-out into a colored background. | After Color Removal V2 |
| **Padding** | Adds empty space (a margin) around your image — see-through, or filled with a color. | After cleanup |
| **[Upscaler (free)](upscaler)** | Makes images 2x or 4x bigger with AI, running on your own computer. No credits. | Before Reposition |
| **[Compress](compress)** | Sets how much the exported files are compressed (Off to Very High). Applied once when saving. | Last step |

## ✨ Effects tools — change the look or feel

| Tool | What it does | Common pairing |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **[Image Adjustment](image-adjustment)** | Brightness, contrast, color balance, saturation, vibrance, hue — plus Colorize, Invert and Greyscale. | After Color Removal V2 |
| **[Filters](filters)** | Nine quick visual effects: Blur · Pixelate · Vignette · Sharpen · Emboss · Edge Detect · Noise · Sepia · Posterize. | After Color Removal V2 |
| **[Distress](distress)** | Adds vintage / grunge texture by erasing parts of your design with a texture mask. | After cleanup, on solid designs |
| **[Clipping Mask](clipping-mask)** | Cuts your design into a custom shape (circle, hexagon, anything). | After Color Removal V2, before Reposition |
| **[Frames](frames)** | Adds a decorative border around your design. | Late in pipeline |
| **[Outline / Stroke](strokes)** | Adds one or more colored outlines around your design — like a sticker edge. Stack several for a layered look. | After Color Removal V2 |
| **[Halftone](halftone)** | Turns a design into a transparent halftone (dots) for screen printing. Auto mode, or Custom for LPI, angle and dot shape. | After cleanup |

## 🏷️ Watermark tools — brand or protect your designs

| Tool | What it does | Common pairing |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **[Watermark (Text)](watermark-text)** | Adds custom typed text (shop name, copyright) to every image. | Last step |
| **[Watermark (Image)](watermark-image)** | Adds your logo or any image as an overlay. | Last step |

## Paid AI tools (use credits)

| Tool | What it does | Cost |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **[AI Background Removal](ai-background-removal)** | Higher-quality background removal for tricky images (hair, fur, soft edges) where regular Color Removal V2 can't get clean enough. **Recraft AI** or **Ideogram**. | 15 credits (Recraft) · 20 credits (Ideogram) |
| **[AI Upscale](ai-upscale)** | Makes small images bigger on our servers. Pick **2x**, **4x**, or **8x** (8x is paid-only on the web). | 10 credits per use |

Credits cost **$1 per 1,000 credits** — so AI Background Removal works out to about 1.5¢ per image and AI Upscale about 1¢. Sign in to use these.

## A typical pipeline order

For most product / design / AI-image cleanup work, this order works well:

```
1. Color Removal V2      (remove the solid background color)
2. Speckle Remover      (cleanup stray pixels)
3. Transparency Cleaner (cleanup faint edges)
4. Trim                 (cut off empty edges)
5. Reposition           (place on target canvas size)
6. Watermark            (brand it — optional)
```

Drop in images, run, get a finished zip. Build it once, save as a preset, run on every future batch.

## How many tools can I add to a pipeline?

As many as you want. The tools run top-to-bottom in the order you set, and each one's output becomes the next one's input. Most working pipelines use 3-7 tools.
