Getting Started
Exporting your images: format, DPI, compression and file names
How to download your finished images — Export All or one image, PNG / JPEG / WebP, DPI, compression, file names, and what to do when the browser asks about multiple downloads.
When the preview looks right, download your images. Every tool in your pipeline is applied to every image as it's saved.
Download all or one
- Download all (the main button, shown once you have 2+ images) — processes and downloads every image in the batch.
- Download current — just the image you're looking at.
When you download many images, the browser may ask whether ReadyPixl can download multiple files. Always say yes, or only the first file will save.
Check the blue numbers under the preview before you download — that's the real size you'll get, after every tool in the pipeline.
Export settings
| Setting | Options | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Format | PNG, JPEG or WebP | PNG |
| DPI | Any number — 300 for print, 72 for web | 300 |
| Compression | Off, Low, Medium, High, Very High | High |
| File names | Original (same names), +processed (adds a suffix), or 1, 2, 3... (numbered) | Original |
Transparency needs PNG (or WebP). JPEG has no see-through pixels, so transparent areas get filled.
Photographic images can show artifacts at high compression — use Medium or Low for photos. Designs with flat colors are fine on High or Very High.
The desktop app also lets you pick the export folder (and open it), or overwrite the original files in place.
What you can drop in
PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF (first frame) and SVG. SVGs come in small — check the blue output size, then use Resize (e.g. 2x) or Reposition to get the size you want.
Starting fresh
- The red trash ALL button clears every loaded image.
- Remove all in the pipeline clears every tool.
