Quick manual edits: magic wand, color wand, eraser and paint
Fix one image by hand right on the canvas — remove a color with the magic wand, recolor areas, erase or paint — without opening Photoshop. Every edit is kept when you download.
Sometimes one image just needs a quick touch-up. The canvas toolbar has simple manual tools so you don't have to open Photoshop.
The tools
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Magic Wand | Click a color and it's removed. Works with any color, not just green. Turn Contiguous on to remove only the connected area you clicked. |
| Color Wand | Click an area to recolor it with the color you pick (for example, click-click-click to turn parts red). |
| Eraser | Rub out parts of the image — e.g. keep the character and erase the text. |
| Paint | Paint on the image with a brush. |
| Move | Pan around the canvas. Hold Spacebar to switch to Move temporarily. |
| Undo / Redo | Step back and forward through your manual edits. |
| Reset to Original | Throws away the manual edits on this image. |
Good to know
- Every manual edit is remembered when you download — you won't lose your touch-ups.
- Manual edits apply to the image you're on, not the whole batch. For the whole batch, use pipeline tools like Color Removal V2.
- These are for quick fixes. Don't hand-edit a hundred images this way — at some point your browser can run out of memory.
- Zoom with your mouse wheel to work on small details.
